Media recall

As part of our change of system we will need all borrowed media back at HSG library  by the 07.12.2020 to book them on to HSGswisscovery.

What do I have to do?

Please return all borrowed media back to the HSG library. At the circulation desk or in the grey return box in front of the library building entrance. From far away please return media by post or at the courier libraries in St. Gallen or IDS.

Want to keep your media?

Media you find hard to part with at the moment can be borrowed once again from the 07.12.2020 on site in the library in HSGswisscovery. Therefore you will need a new user account. Hence, you can already register for HSGswisscovery, without ruffle or excitement and our helpful registration page.

By when?

All media, that are borrowed in the current system, have to be returned until the 16.12.2020 at the very latest! Failure to return media will result in fines.

Please note:

Recalls due to reservation or expired maximum lendig period are - as usual - possible at any time.

Information on suspension of IDS courier / reservations

At the HSGswisscovery GoLive on the 07.12.2020 a new media courier for all of Switzerland will start operating. Already from the 15.11.2020, media orders from IDS libraries (except Speicherbibliothek) will not be possible anymore. You will still be able to return media from IDS libraries at the HSG library.

Further reservations of media will not be possible from the 15.11.2020 until the 07.12.2020.
